About Me
Ryan Kanner is currently a 5th-year Architectural Engineering student at Penn State University. Once graduated, he plans on entering the construction management field and working for a General Contractor or Construction Management company. He already has some experience in the industry after working two summer internships at Holder Construction, with the first being in the Atlanta Preconstruction department and the second in Operations. During these internships, Ryan learned how to perform takeoffs, develop a complete scope of work, write RFI's, review submittals, and produce monthly jobsite cost projections.
Besides his coursework, Ryan has been involved with the Penn State Dance Marathon. His activities include membership on a Rules and Regulations committee, as well as acting as a Philanthropy Chair for his fraternity. Outside of school, Ryan enjoys golf, skiing, and hiking with both friends and family. He is also an avid Penn State football, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Pittsburgh Pirates fan.
